It is getting to be Halloween season. It was nice yesterday, so we got some of our Halloween friends out of the shed and into the fresh fall air. More to come in the next month.

Halloween Flamingos
Today we put up most of our Halloween decorations. This pair of Flamingos are the latest additions to our Halloween decorations. We spent most of the afternoon stringing lights, setting up lighted ghosts, punkins, witches and the such. It is our favorite time of the year, Halloween, not as much pressure as Christmas and more fun.

Pier Sunset
I have had lots to pick from today for today’s image. I took this image on our way out for dinner, Friday Fish Fry. The sun is setting earlier than just a few weeks ago. I am not happy about that! I like long days, lots of sun and warmth.

Birthday Boy
OK, this is a week late. Newbie’s Birthday was last Thursday. We do not know the exact date he was born since he was adopted from our outside semi-feral cats, Mrs. White Paws and Chester. Five years ago last Thursday, we brought him inside and made him part of our family. That is the date we use as his birthday.

Colorful Sunset
I do not have much today. I took three images of the tree line for HDR processing, then took the processed image into Photoshop to work on it some with filters and adjustments. I got the colors I like and saw in my mind’s eye. Not the best, but it is all I have today.

River
The sun is setting early this time of the year. The river is low, but as fall approaches the river still has some beauty. Not much time to find some different images, so I went back to one of my favorite spots.

Princess & Friends
I worked late, so it was dark when I got home. This morning as I was leaving for work Princess was napping with her friends. I thought I would get another image today, but nothing worked out. Princess will not mind I used her napping.

Before?
This might be the Before shot because we are getting serious frost tonight. I am not sure if the Elephant Ears can take a hard frost. Right now they look so nice. I like green better than brown. I know brown is coming, but it could stay away for a few months and it would be fine with me.
