Fishing Sunset
A work day today, then mow the lawn (First day without rain in some time) and then run into town for supplies. On the way home the sun was setting. I was able to capture a shot before it got completely dark.

Newbie Alert
It has been a long day with lots of running around. In between rain showers we did get a little yard work done. Not much, but at least some. Then we went out to dinner with friends / Neighbors at one of favorite restaurants. Now we are back home, but not one image captured today for today’s Picture-Of-The-Day’s image. So Mr. Newbie stepped up to the plate to have his picture taken. He was alert to make sure we stayed safe and his treats were protected!

Storm Approaching
After work, we headed to our normal Wisconsin Friday Night Fish Fry, Springers. The weather was mixed. We always take a trip through the Wisconsin State Park near us before heading to Springers. We saw the approaching storm over the lake. It ended up not too bad, as of late evening.

My Tree
Today was a great cloud day. Lots of different clouds. My Tree was looking good with the great sky and clouds behind it.
A workout day, another boot camp night, and a good workout. Normally this is my Friday, but I am filling in for someone tomorrow, so I will be working a Friday. Lucky, I will be done in time to head out for a Wisconsin Friday Night Fish Fry.

A Man and His Son
Ok, Newbie is adopted in case you cannot tell. He does look something like me. We just finished a salad for dinner, after work, after working planting a bunch of pepper plants, tomato plants, rhubarb, squash, and some plants in our front yard woods. So I am sitting on our deck, thinking how nice it is to look out on all green, no houses, no people, just nature. I love living in the country! But I was wondering what I was going to do for today’s Picture-Of-The-Day. It has been a rough day at work, being short staff, having crappy customers, a lot of dumb customers (so dumb you wonder how they drove to the store), not enough time to get stuff done and then so much rain this morning that we had water in the garage & basement. A glass of wine looked like the solution to forget the day, relax with Newbie on the deck and overlook all that green! So today’s Picture-Of-The-Day’s image was simple, set the timer, shoot myself and Newbie. Not too original, not too creative, just simple, easy and quick.

Happy Bunny
Some days you just have to kick up your heels and be happy! Life is way too short to worry about the little things.
Today I was off from work because I am working my normal Friday day off. Not the best, but it is a little thing in the scope of things. So Ann and I spent the day trying to get stuff done. We did not accomplish as much as we wanted too due to time and rain, but we still had fun. I did my normal Tuesday night Boot Camp and then after dinner, looked for today’s image. From Boot Camp on, it was pretty much a normal Tuesday.

Clover & Fungi
This is a great year for some of the fungi. I have seen more fungi around our yard than ever before. Fungi is one of my favorite subjects. They have such different textures, colors and shapes.

Cacti FLower
I have been waiting for a while for the first Cacti flower. I always wonder if they will flower. And when will they flower. They always do and our little Cacti bed is growing.
Back to work today. Putting in a full week this week, something the last three weeks I have not done. I would rather be at a race track every weekend working than working at a dull job during the week. I like the travel too. New sites to see, food to eat, and new things to try. Maybe some day.

The 22
A full day at Road America in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin before heading home to the kids. I go over the wall in the ARCA race for Tom Berte, the driver of ARCA car number 20. The pits were busy today so not much time to tick any shots. After the ARCA race, the Nationwide race started, and we stayed for about half of that race before heading home. The kids were happy to see us.

I spent the day at a race track, Road America, and other than some morning rain, it has been very good. Another day of no work, but race track work, a perfect day. Tomorrow is race day and the rain should be good day.
