Race Prep
I was lucky to spend a day at a racetrack. We had practice and inspection. We spent the whole day at Pocono Raceway and that was good.
I am still in my iPad for uploading photos, so it just takes a little longer to get this image uploaded.
Deer
We Are at our house for the Pocono race. Lots of deer of all different sizes. This one and a few others were around our house. I could just about walk right up to them and touch them.
I am using my iPad to upload my images on this trip. Not enough space in my carry on for my laptop.
More Kali
The last cat picture for the month. We are off to Pocono for the ARCA race. The kids got some deck time tonight. The last of the month.

Sleepy Kali
I have to close at work tonight, so I will not be home until just before midnight. It does not leave me enough time to pick and upload today’s Picture-Of-The-Day image. The kids get to be today’s image. They were handy. Kali is sleeping in the loft with Newbie. They were both sleeping, but Newbie opened his eyes for the picture. It is nice they get along so well.

Early Morning Takeoff
On the way to work this morning, I was lucky enough to just capture this B-17 just starting it’s takeoff roll in Madison. This World War II aircraft was in Madison this weekend giving rides before heading to Oshkosh for the EAA AirVenture. I did not have the correct lens on my Nikon, but you capture what you can with what you have.

The Kids
The Kids had lots of deck time today. They were all over, including the deck table. It was nice to work most of the day in the yard, ponds, and general outside work around the house.

Wildflowers
Not much photography today, too much yard work, running around Madison, and just stuff to do. Our normal routine when we are home on a Friday night is to take a cruse through our local Wisconsin State Park. This is were I captured these wildflowers.

The Young & The Old
Not much tonight, just another night of cats or flowers. After working in the yard tonight before dinner, I took a quick look around the yard, shot a few shots, then captured this image. I knew when I pushed the shutter, that this would be the Picture-Of-The-Day because of the lighting.

Bright Lily
Tonight after working with the chain saw for some time, today’s image would be either flowers or cats. Tonight the flowers won out. We have lots of lilies of different colors, not as much as our neighbor, but still a nice mix of colors.
