I left for work in the dark, came home after dark, not much time for the Picture-Of-The-Day process. The kids said they would pose, but as you can tell, neither really wanted to pose for me.

I had to use Newbie for today’s Picture-Of-The-Day image because I left for work in the dark and came home in the dark. Not much time for outside shots. I did play some in Photoshop to give Newbie that bright-eyed look of an older film camera.

When you see her for the first time, you know, it is love at first sight! She sticks out in a crowd. She is far more beautiful than the others. The first time you touch her, you know both of you want to be together for life. You run your hands down her sides, you know she is the one. The first time you caress her, you know it will not be the last. You want to take her out, show your friends, but not let them touch her. She is yours. It is love at first sight.

Today, for the most part I was on the road. Either coming back from Kentucky or driving from Milwaukee to home or heading to Beloit for a special showing of the movie Sully. By the time we got back home after Jeff Skiles spoke and answered questions, it was too late to capture any image outside. Kali was there, she had to be the image for today. And she is a cute image if I have to say so myself!
