3000 days ago I started this project. I started with a selfie, I thought if this is my last posting, I would go out with a selfie. Wednesday night is “Date Night” for Ann and myself. We go into Oregon, we eat at Maria’s Pizza, fill her car up with gas and head home. So I thought going out with a selfie of myself, Maria’s Pizza and the Oregon “Tin Man” water tower in the background would be a fitting way to exit.
Tomorrow when I wake up, I will have to decide if I will do number 3001 or go out with 3000 images. My website, wisconsin.com is taking up more and more of my time. Most of the year, I have had a harder time finding something to capture that is not a cat. Nothing wrong with a cat image, but I need to diversify some.
If this is my last image, thanks everyone who viewed any of the 3000 images, thanks. It has been fun!

I had lots of work today. Not much time to capture anything relevant. When Ann got home we went out for our Wisconsin Friday Night Fish Fry. While waiting for our cocktail, this image captured my attention, so I captured it. It was the reflections!
As things wind down, I thought about capturing some of my favorite locations. “My Tree” has been a favorite, capturing it when it was young, all Wisconsin seasons and many different angles. Even when it lost a large part of it’s one branch, I still like the location.
Planes, Trains, Ships and Automobiles. And a cat. I worked late again, so it was dark when I left work. Inside photography is then called for. Since we just had a road trip, I thought of transportation. I had what I needed sitting on my desk. Except Kali, she came for the treats, stayed to be included in the image, but not still.
Trying to capture the two kids together is like trying herd cats! By themselves they like to pose for me, but together, not so much.
I missed the best part of tonight’s sunset. I did get some, and that is good.
Kali wanted a portrait image like Newbie had, so today was her turn.
I like the new portrait feature of my new iPhone X. I like to experiment with my kids and the iPhone.
Snow and a tree make for a nice morning image as I leave for work. Next year, there will be a new house in this view. After 40 years we will now have new neighbors.
