Day 2970, February 26, 2018 – Transportation Still Life

Day 2970Planes, Trains, Ships and Automobiles. And a cat. I worked late again, so it was dark when I left work. Inside photography is then called for. Since we just had a road trip, I thought of transportation. I had what I needed sitting on my desk. Except Kali, she came for the treats, stayed to be included in the image, but not still.

Day 1980, June 12, 2015 – Takeoff

Takeoff

I was lucky enough to be included on a tour of the Madison control tower. It was a great tour. Being a pilot, seeing how the air traffic is controlled was amazing. A big thanks to my neighbor, Pat, to include me in his EAA tour. It was a rainy day, but still seeing the airport from the control tower was great.

Early Morning Takeoff

On the way to work this morning, I was lucky enough to just capture this B-17 just starting it’s takeoff roll in Madison. This World War II aircraft was in Madison this weekend giving rides before heading to Oshkosh for the EAA AirVenture. I did not have the correct lens on my Nikon, but you capture what you can with what you have.

Day 1598, May 26, 2014 – Capturing Each Other

Capturing Each Other

Capturing Each Other

Here is an image I captured with my Nikon of the Quad 350 QX flying tonight with my GoPro attached. The image within this image of me, is what the GoPro captured of me while I was capturing it. I think I will have some fun capturing images from different perspectives than standing on the ground.
